Repurposed: The rest of your story
Are you ready?
Welcome to Timeless Aspirations!
Timeless Aspirations invites you to explore and expound on the who, what, why, when, and how of the current life story you are writing and future stories you hope to write.
The late Paul Harvey, a 1970s radio/television commentator, captivated his audience with entertaining backstories of famous and infamous personalities and events. Paul Havey not only told the story, Paul Harvey kept his audience in suspense at what they thought was the end of the story until Paul Harvey uttered his famous words: The rest of the story.
When Paul Harvey said: The rest of the story. The program cut to a commercial break. You waited, enthralled by: the rest of the story. When Paul Harvey told the rest of the story, some astounding little known facts Paul Harvey claimed were true, yet previously not made known to the public, gave you new insight into the story thanks to the rest of the story.
We were taught that an author draws you into a great story by the details of five elements: the who, what, why, where, and how are systematically developed painting a complete picture of the character and the events in character’s story.
You need a well written rest of this story with a strategic plan for the Who, What, Why, When and How – the systematic or strategic plan that repurposes you into the next phase of your story.
You are a multifaceted individual. You change. Your stories change as you experience life moments and assimilate new information. With newly acquired knowledge and lessons learned from life experiences, your perspective changes. You think differently. You release and apply what you learned into your current story.
You are being repurposed wherever you are in your present story. Knowledge becomes powerful and effective change redefines your life when you apply the power of newly acquired knowledge to finish this story and move on to the next story. The bookmarks of living are like commercial breaks. You stop, reflect, redefine, refine, and repurpose where you are in your current story. You uncover a new facet of the who, what, why, when, and how of your story. You acknowledge being repurposed, and begin to live the repurposed life. I encourage you to write the rest of this story, wherever you are, by investing the time to develop a strategic plan to redefine the who, what, why, when, and how being mindful of being repurposed to a better story every time. Repurpose your story by refocusing on: Who - your beliefs and values; self concept What - your passion or cause; dream, vision Why - Your reasons for the what; purpose When - sense of direction and urgency How - implementation strategy Learn to be mindful of the message of your present story plus the multifaceted stories you aspire to write and share with the world. Your repurposed perspective will direct you into an even greater message for the next chapter of the next rest of this story. Are you ready to expand the rest of this story?
